What activities can Realtors do right now? (answer- quite a bit!)

In just about every conversation I have had recently regarding my business, the question always comes up, “you’re probably not able to do much right now, right?”

Actually there is quite a bit we can do and very little we can’t. The main focus of our practice right now is to make sure we are doing all we can to protect our clients, other agents clients and ourselves. Currently we are social distancing as much as possible, wearing masks when around clients, in listings or in the office. We are also actively sanitizing and disinfecting as much as possible as we go through our days.

Activity wise, about the only thing we cannot do right now are the big open house events. Due to our current environment it is now more important than ever to hire the best photographer/ videographer and home staging professionals in the business! After all, you only get one chance to make a first impression.

We are limited to the number to the number of clients that can be in a home at one time, so if the whole family wants to see a house, they may have to go through it in stages.

As far as viewing homes, everything is by appointment only. That way we do not have 10 agents showing up at the same time and queuing up at the front door. It’s actually pretty nice as it assures my clients will get a private viewing.
